Shadaiyah
Shadaiyah, an elegant and seasoned songstylist, began her musical
journey at age 11. Her world tour as a backing vocalist with
internationally-known recording artist Evelyn Champagne King and
subsequent musical opportunities allowed her to enjoy a rich career
throughout the US and Europe - extensively in Panama, England, Germany,
Italy and Canada.
In Israel, Shadaiyah has brought the house down in a multitude of
performances at the Hilton, the Sheraton, the Dahniel, Moriah Plaza and
the prestigious Red Sea Jazz Festival to name a few. Her portfolio is
rich with the fullness of old Broadway hits, to the jubilance of gospel,
to the make-you-wanna-dance tunes of today. To quote a critic from “The
Jerusalem Post” (April 16, 1993), Shadaiyah “out-souled even Whitney
Houston!” She is often referred to as “The Songbird,” whose mission is
to warm the hearts of her listeners. Just ask her to sing “Somewhere
Over the Rainbow” and prepare yourself for one of the most powerful
experiences of your life!
As a member of the RKP groups Starrlite, the New Jerusalem Fire Choir
and a former lead vocalist with “The Prophets of Sound”, she has
countless performances to her credit. The promotional copy of her first
solo release featuring all original material, “Time of My Life”, is
already being hailed by industry giants as an award-winning collection
of timely and timeless tunes, descriptive of another world where
everyone would love to be. Shadaiyah brings to the stage brilliant
talent and sparkling showmanship - always sure to command an encore.
